Jack Zemp

Chief Legal Officer, North America

Jack is passionate about the law because it protects customers—just like we do. As Chief Legal Officer, Jack is responsible for managing the legal team in the U.S., as well as overseeing the legal team in Canada. He has served 9 years as Chairman of the U.S. Travel Insurance Association’s (USTiA) Law and Regulation Committee. Before joining the company, Jack worked for several insurers and brokers, in private practice, and as General Counsel for the New Hampshire Insurance Department. In each of these roles, Jack advised on regulatory, compliance, claims, litigation and risk issues to help businesses effectively navigate risk and legal requirements. Jack also serves on the Economic Development Authority and Main Street Boards for his hometown of Ashland, Virginia.  

Jack graduated from University of New Hampshire Law School in 1994, and became a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1996. In 1999, he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston College. In 2018, he was inducted into the Federation of Regulatory Counsel (FORC).
